Licensed Clinician (LCSW,LMFT,LPC)

About the Role

As a Licensed Clinician at our New Britain campus, you'll deliver high-quality behavioral health services to patients across our acute-care facility. Working on our interdisciplinary care teams, you'll conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that support positive patient outcomes during critical care moments.

What You'll Do

• Conduct psychiatric and psychosocial evaluations for hospitalized patients and emergency department visits
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
• Respond to mental health crises and provide crisis intervention services
• Maintain comprehensive, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to discharge planning
• Support patients managing substance use disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health conditions
• Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards governing clinical practice

What We're Looking For

• Valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Connecticut
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in a hospital, mental health clinic, or similar acute-care setting
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical clinical practice
