ICC Education Specialist

Zoological Society seeks a Part-Time Education Specialist for the International Conservation Center (ICC) in Fairhope, Somerset County. In this role, you'll develop and deliver engaging conservation education programs, animal encounters, and guided tours that connect visitors with wildlife and inspire action for environmental protection.

About the Role

This part-time, hourly position is based at the International Conservation Center in Somerset, Pennsylvania, and reports to the VP of Education & Community Engagement. As a key member of the Conservation Education Department, you'll be responsible for creating and facilitating educational experiences that advance our conservation mission.

What You'll Do

• Develop and prepare education programs for diverse audiences and age groups
• Facilitate guided tours and interactive animal encounters at the ICC
• Create educational content and materials that engage and inspire visitors
• Deliver presentations that promote conservation awareness and environmental stewardship
• Coordinate with team members to execute educational programs and community events
• Build meaningful experiences that foster appreciation for wildlife and conservation
• Maintain program quality and safety standards
