About the Role

As a Technology Teacher, you'll lead engaging classroom instruction that develops students' computational thinking, digital citizenship, and hands-on technical competencies. This full-time position at Zion Central Middle School serves students across a range of ability levels and learning styles. Your classroom will be the hub for fostering curiosity, problem-solving, and practical technology skills that prepare students for both academic success and real-world careers.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver standards-aligned technology and computer science curriculum to middle school students
• Create an inclusive, engaging classroom that encourages experimentation and collaborative learning
• Integrate hands-on projects, coding, digital media, and technology applications into instruction
• Assess student progress and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain classroom technology resources and stay current with emerging educational tools
• Collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and support school initiatives
• Foster digital citizenship, online safety, and ethical technology use among students

What We're Looking For

• Valid teaching credential or eligibility for middle school technology/computer science instruction
• Demonstrated knowledge of technology curriculum and instructional practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with middle-grade students
