Maximus is hiring a Director of Solution Enablement to lead enterprise-wide enablement strategy and execution at our Sacramento, California headquarters. This full-time leadership role combines business architecture expertise with stakeholder management, positioning you to shape critical initiatives from conception through successful delivery.
About the Role
You'll serve as the strategic entry point for new enterprise solution delivery initiatives, partnering with senior leaders to clarify business objectives, assess feasibility, and surface interdependencies before projects enter formal design and delivery phases. Your role is to ensure that all major initiatives are properly architected and aligned with broader enterprise goals from the outset.
What You'll Do
- Lead the scoping and definition phase of new solution enablement initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders across business units
- Develop business architecture artifacts including capability models, value stream analyses, and process documentation to drive enterprise alignment
- Identify and map dependencies across functions and technical systems, mitigating risks and optimizing sequencing
- Establish enablement governance standards and operational frameworks that support consistent, effective execution
- Work with delivery, operations, and business teams to ensure initiatives translate into measurable organizational impact
- Communicate initiative status and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and cross-functional sponsors
What We're Looking For
- Director-level experience in solution enablement, business architecture, or enterprise transformation
- Demonstrated expertise in capability assessment, value stream design, and business process documentation
- Track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships across organizational levels
- Strategic thinking paired with the ability to operationalize enterprise objectives
- Strong presentation and executive communication skills
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and change management practices
