About the Role
As a Food Service Worker 1, you'll be essential to our kitchen and cafeteria operations, ensuring that meals meet our facility's food safety standards and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and portion guidelines

- Support cafeteria operations including serving food, restocking supplies, and maintaining dining areas

- Work collaboratively with kitchen and food service staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Handle food storage, rotation, and inventory management to minimize waste

- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and portion control
- Strong work ethic and reliability, especially in a healthcare setting
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfort working as part of a team in a busy hospital kitchen
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
