Director of Sourcing

Robert Half seeks a Director of Sourcing to develop and lead procurement strategy in Carrollton. About the Role

As Director of Sourcing, you'll design and execute strategic sourcing plans that balance cost, quality, and supply chain resilience. You'll manage strategic supplier partnerships, oversee negotiations and contracts, and drive improvements that align with business priorities. Partnering with engineering, operations, and manufacturing, you'll ensure reliable access to materials, services, and suppliers that fuel the organization's success.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute global procurement strategies for critical manufacturing categories
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships and vendor partnerships
• Drive cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives across the supply base
• Assess supplier performance and implement continuous improvement programs
• Ensure supply chain stability and resilience to meet production demand and support product launches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and manufacturing
• Lead supplier negotiations, manage contracts, and oversee vendor compliance
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to refine sourcing strategy

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain leadership experience
• Proven success in manufacturing or industrial sourcing roles
• Experience developing and executing enterprise-level procurement strategies
• Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to lead supplier relationships
• Track record of cost reduction, quality management, and supply chain optimization
• Advanced analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing organizational initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, business, or related discipline
