About the Role
This full-time dedicated dry van truck driver position features regional consistency across five states: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. You'll maintain established customer accounts along your assigned route, returning home each week. The role combines operational expertise with customer-facing service, as you'll represent U.S. Xpress at every delivery stop.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a dry van truck across assigned regional routes
- Execute regular pickups and deliveries to established customer accounts in FL, GA, AL, MS, and LA
- Maintain comprehensive vehicle records and ensure DOT compliance
- Build positive relationships with regular customers along your route
- Return to your home base in Apalachicola each week
- Consistently meet delivery commitments and safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license
- 1–5 months of professional truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with current DOT medical certification
- Professional customer interaction skills
- Strong commitment to vehicle maintenance and safety
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused work ethic
Compensation
Dedicated truck drivers at this location earn $1,400–$1,800 per week. New hires receive a $2,000 hiring incentive upon start.
