Western Growers Family of Companies is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to build and lead recruitment efforts across our organization. Based in the US, this role is essential to attracting and hiring talented professionals who share our commitment to supporting American agriculture and the farming families at the heart of our mission.
About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll own the complete recruitment lifecycle for open positions, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and extending offers. You'll work closely with department leaders to understand their hiring needs, develop targeted recruitment strategies, and bring top talent into roles across our organization.
What You'll Do
- Source and screen candidates using job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach to build a strong pipeline
- Manage the full hiring process, including scheduling interviews, conducting initial assessments, and coordinating with hiring managers
- Develop and refine job descriptions that attract qualified, mission-aligned candidates
- Track recruitment metrics and provide insights on hiring trends and improvements
- Represent Western Growers' culture and values throughout the candidate experience
- Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system and ensure compliance with hiring best practices
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR coordination
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple positions and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with recruiting tools, job boards, and applicant tracking systems
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Genuine interest in agriculture, farming, or supporting American producers
