Dollar General is hiring a Sales Associate for our Tahlequah, Cherokee County store. In this full-time position, you'll help customers find what they need while keeping our store organized, clean, and welcoming.

About the Role

As a Sales Associate at our Tahlequah Dollar General location, you're the first person customers see and the last person they interact with at checkout. You'll create a positive shopping experience, answer product questions, and ensure smooth transactions throughout your shift.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and assist them in finding products throughout the store
• Operate the point-of-sale register and handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately
• Stock shelves and maintain organized product displays
• Keep sales floor and store facilities clean and safe
• Follow company policies and procedures consistently
• Support team members with opening and closing duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively with people
• Basic math skills and comfort operating a register
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and as store needs require
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and stock merchandise regularly
• Strong attendance record and reliable work ethic
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
