Fresenius Medical Care is hiring a New Graduate Registered Nurse – RN for our Riverdale, Buffalo County location. This full-time position offers recent nursing school graduates the opportunity to launch their career providing compassionate dialysis care to patients who depend on life-saving treatment.

About the Role

As a New Graduate RN, you'll join our hemodialysis team in a structured mentorship environment designed to build your clinical skills and confidence. You'll work directly with experienced nurses and nephrologists to deliver safe, effective dialysis therapy and comprehensive patient support.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient health status before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Assist with vascular access cannulation and peritoneal dialysis catheter care following established protocols
  • Operate hemodialysis equipment and manage fluid balance under supervision
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication compliance, and self-care between sessions
  • Document patient care activities and observations in medical records accurately and completely
  • Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times
  • Communicate openly with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Recent graduate from an accredited nursing school
  • Current or pending RN licensure in the state of employment
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical foundation and eagerness to learn
  • Compassionate patient care approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment
