Saipan is hiring a full-time Hazard Mitigation and Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Planner in Guam, US. About the Role
As a Hazard Mitigation and Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Planner, you'll develop and execute comprehensive strategies to reduce risk, strengthen community preparedness, and build sustainable infrastructure. What You'll Do
- Assess natural hazards, vulnerabilities, and community risks across CNMI jurisdictions
- Develop hazard mitigation plans and strategies that align with regional priorities
- Design and coordinate infrastructure improvements that enhance community resilience
- Engage stakeholders—including government agencies, community leaders, and residents—throughout the planning process
- Conduct research, analysis, and technical assessments to inform planning initiatives
