Mgr Medical Affairs – Clinical Scientist

Canon USA & Affiliates is seeking a Manager of Medical Affairs - Clinical Scientist to lead clinical evidence generation and medical strategy for innovative imaging solutions in Tumwater. This full-time position combines scientific expertise with leadership in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.

About the Role

In this Manager of Medical Affairs role, you'll translate cutting-edge imaging technology into clinical practice by generating scientific evidence of its value and impact. Working alongside clinical experts and technical specialists, you'll develop and execute medical affairs strategies that demonstrate how our innovations improve patient care and clinical outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Design and manage clinical evaluations and research studies to establish scientific evidence
• Analyze clinical data and research findings to support product claims and positioning
• Develop medical affairs strategies aligned with clinical needs and business objectives
• Present research results and clinical evidence to healthcare professionals and stakeholders
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and regulatory teams on clinical accuracy and compliance
• Support clinical education and training programs for customers and partners
• Track clinical literature and competitive developments to inform strategic planning

What We're Looking For

• Advanced degree in clinical science, life science, biomedical science, or related field
• Substantial professional experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or healthcare
• Expertise in clinical study design and scientific evidence generation
• Understanding of imaging technology and its clinical applications
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse professional audiences
• Ability to translate complex science for clinical and business stakeholders
• Leadership and project management capabilities
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in healthcare and medical devices
