About the Role
The Youth Baseball Academy, an initiative of Washington Nationals Philanthropies, operates year-round to build athletic capability and personal growth in youth participants. As Coordinator, you will help deliver and support these programs for young baseball and softball players across multiple age levels.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate baseball and softball training sessions, clinics, tournaments, and seasonal programs throughout the year
- Manage participant registration, scheduling, and administrative processes to ensure programs run smoothly
- Partner with coaches and instructors to support quality teaching, skill development, and youth mentorship
- Develop and execute community outreach to engage families and local youth in the Academy's mission
- Maintain participant records, communicate program information to families, and monitor attendance
- Support field operations, equipment management, and facility preparation as needed
