About the Role

This full-time position offers you the chance to lead Social Studies instruction in a distinctive school environment. You'll develop curriculum that connects civic understanding, historical thinking, and environmental awareness, using our 20-acre campus and working urban farm as living classrooms for applied, experiential learning.

What You'll Do

  • Design and teach Social Studies courses that develop student critical thinking about history, civics, social systems, and environmental justice

  • Valid Connecticut teaching certification in Social Studies, History, or related secondary field
