About the Role

As a Lead Technician in Facility Services specializing in Exterior Services, you'll play a critical role in maintaining Walmart's physical assets and creating safe, well-maintained environments for customers and associates. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership responsibilities, requiring both technical knowledge and supervisory skill.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise a team of exterior service technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management
• Oversee maintenance and repair of exterior facilities including parking areas, landscaping, building exteriors, and grounds
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Coordinate work schedules and resources to ensure efficient service delivery and timely completion of projects
• Troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and team performance
• Ensure all work meets company standards and local regulations
• Communicate with other facility departments and management on project status and operational needs

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a technician or in facility services, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
• Strong technical knowledge of exterior facility maintenance, equipment operation, and repair
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and physical demands of the role
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
