About the Role
As a CDL A Chemical Tanker Driver with Heniff Transportation, you'll operate specialized equipment transporting liquid bulk chemicals across the United States. What You'll Do
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles hauling liquid chemical cargo in compliance with DOT and hazmat regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting mechanical condition and safety concerns
- Conduct professional loading and unloading operations following company and customer protocols
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery documentation, and compliance records
- Deliver cargo on schedule while adhering to all hours-of-service regulations and traffic laws
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers to ensure on-time performance
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with hazmat endorsement
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience (tank experience preferred)
- Clean driving record and passing background check
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe chemical transport practices
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to vehicle maintenance
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
