Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting is hiring an Electrical Journeyman to join our team in Broussard, Lafayette Parish. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced electrical professional with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in municipal and industrial work.
About the Role
You'll work on diverse municipal and industrial electrical projects while collaborating with our Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen. Your role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems across commercial and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, and repair electrical systems and components
- Perform wiring, conduit work, and circuit installation per code and specifications
- Handle communications and electronic system installations and repairs
- Diagnose and resolve electrical problems efficiently and safely
- Maintain equipment and systems to ensure reliable performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and electrical codes
- Work alongside construction and project teams to meet timelines
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of electrical experience in municipal or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with electrical hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
