Registered Nurse (RN) FT Days – Oncology (Acute Care)

About the Role

As an Oncology RN in our Acute Care setting, you'll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving cancer treatment and managing complex medical conditions. Working the day shift in a dynamic, collaborative environment, you'll combine clinical expertise with compassionate patient interactions. This full-time position plays a vital role in our mission to enhance health and well-being for every patient we serve.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient status and clinical progress
• Administer chemotherapy and specialized oncology medications with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Manage IV therapy, pain management, and symptom control for cancer patients
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, potential side effects, and evidence-based self-care strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, oncology specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive treatment
• Maintain detailed electronic health records and ensure clear communication across clinical teams
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care during challenging patient journeys

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Georgia
• Clinical experience in acute care, oncology, or related specialty preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based nursing practice standards
• Compassion, professionalism, and dedication to valuing and honoring every patient's voice
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
