Shipping and Receiving Inspector

Emerson is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Inspector for our operations in Ash Flat. In this full-time role, you'll oversee the accurate receipt and dispatch of materials, maintaining inventory integrity and supporting our quality standards across all warehouse operations.

What You'll Do

• Create, review, and manage shipment documentation for all incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring complete and accurate records
• Conduct physical inventory audits and reconcile counts against system records to verify receipt accuracy
• Direct placement of received goods in designated storage locations and maintain updated inventory records in our JDE system
• Participate in quality assurance inspections to confirm materials meet specifications before storage or dispatch
• Monitor warehouse organization and cleanliness standards to support efficient operations
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows
• Handle documentation for hazardous materials, regulatory compliance, or special handling requirements as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in warehouse, inventory management, or receiving operations
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory software—JDE experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and documentation
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and organize materials regularly
• Reliability and consistent attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
