Locum Physician (MD/DO) – Otolaryngology in

CompHealth is seeking a qualified physician (MD or DO) specializing in Otolaryngology to join our clinical team in Normal, Illinois on a locum basis. About the Role

As a Locum Otolaryngology Physician with CompHealth, you'll deliver comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care in a community-based setting. This position supports patient access to specialty care in Normal, allowing you to contribute meaningfully while maintaining professional autonomy. You'll work directly with our clinical team and have access to CompHealth's extensive support infrastructure—from credentialing and compliance management to dedicated recruitment coordination.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions of the ear, nose, sinuses, throat, and head/neck region
• Perform diagnostic procedures and minor to moderate surgical interventions as appropriate to the practice setting
• Manage patient consultations, medical histories, and treatment planning
• Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to coordinate patient care
• Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Adhere to clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO degree with current, unrestricted licensure in Illinois
• Board certification or board eligible in Otolaryngology
• Valid DEA registration
• Malpractice insurance history acceptable to credentialing requirements
• Clinical judgment, patient advocacy, and professional communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a locum setting
