About the Role

As a Product / Technology Due Diligence Senior Associate / Consultant within the EY-Parthenon Software Strategy Group, you will assess the technology and product capabilities of companies involved in mergers, acquisitions, and investments. This full-time, on-site position in San Francisco places you alongside diverse, globally connected teams that combine transformative strategy, transactions, and corporate finance expertise to help clients make confident, well-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate software architecture, engineering practices, and product roadmaps as part of buy-side and sell-side technology due diligence engagements.
• Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for investors, executives, and deal teams.
• Partner with EY-Parthenon strategists across transactions and corporate finance to shape the overall diligence narrative.
• Identify technical risks, scalability constraints, and value-creation opportunities within target companies.
• Contribute to client deliverables, recommendations, and post-deal technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Background in software engineering, product management, or technology consulting relevant to due diligence work.
• Ability to analyze and communicate the strengths and weaknesses of software products and engineering organizations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in the SoMa neighborhood of San Francisco and collaborate across EY's connected teams.
