Healthcare Tech Senior Associate – EpicCare Inpatient

Huron Consulting Group is hiring a full-time Healthcare Tech Senior Associate - EpicCare Inpatient to join our team in the Illinois Medical District, Chicago, where you will help leading healthcare organizations implement and optimize their Epic clinical systems.

About the Role

As a Healthcare Tech Senior Associate - EpicCare Inpatient at Huron Consulting Group in Chicago, you will work hands-on with the EpicCare Inpatient application to support hospital clients through configuration, build, and go-live activities. This on-site role places you at the intersection of clinical workflows and technology, partnering with provider organizations to strengthen their electronic health record capabilities and accelerate meaningful improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, build, and maintain the EpicCare Inpatient module to align with each client's clinical and operational needs.
• Collaborate with hospital stakeholders, physicians, and nursing teams to translate workflow requirements into effective system design.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues throughout implementation and optimization projects.
• Assist with go-live preparation, end-user readiness, and post-implementation support.
• Contribute to project planning, documentation, and knowledge sharing across engagement teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the EpicCare Inpatient application within a healthcare or consulting setting.
• Strong understanding of inpatient clinical workflows and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in the Illinois Medical District, Chicago, and collaborate within cross-functional project teams.
• Relevant Epic certification or willingness to obtain it is highly valued for this role.
