This travel Physical Therapist assignment is located in the Richmond, California area and runs for 13 weeks beginning August 3, 2026. The schedule consists of 8-hour shifts at 40 hours per week. The weekly pay package of $3,017 is based on those hours and shift structure, subject to confirmation at placement.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and design individualized physical therapy treatment plans tied to measurable functional goals
• Deliver direct therapeutic care including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education
• Track patient progress throughout the episode of care, adjusting interventions based on clinical findings and goals
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered outcomes
• Provide patient and caregiver education on home exercise programs, functional mobility, and safe recovery practices
• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility protocols and state and federal requirements

What We're Looking For

• Current, unencumbered Physical Therapist license in California or eligibility to obtain California licensure prior to start
• Graduate degree (DPT or equivalent) from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
• Active BLS/CPR certification
• At least one year of hands-on clinical PT experience; travel therapy background a plus
• Ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments and adapt to varying patient populations
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for working within diverse care teams
• Proficiency with electronic health record platforms used across inpatient and outpatient settings
