About the Role

The Park Aide (Inland NW Area) position with the State of Washington places you on the front lines of park operations and visitor care. It's hands-on, physical, outdoor work that directly supports the upkeep and enjoyment of state parks throughout the Inland Northwest. For many, this temporary role also serves as an entry point toward a longer-term career with Washington State Parks, as numerous permanent staff begin their journey here.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and groundskeeping to keep park facilities clean, safe, and inviting
• Assist with day-to-day park operations across multiple Inland Northwest park locations
• Support a positive experience for park visitors and the public
• Carry out physical, outdoor tasks in a variety of weather and terrain conditions
• Contribute to the broader mission of preserving Washington's parks for current and future generations
