Caring Family Community Services is hiring a full-time, in-person Therapist (LSW, LAC, LAMFT, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in Hackensack to deliver compassionate, in-home counseling to children and the families who care for them.

About the Role

As an In-Person Therapist with Caring Family Community Services in Hackensack, you will travel directly to clients' homes to support children navigating emotional, behavioral, and developmental difficulties. This is a relationship-centered, full-time clinical position for licensed professionals who believe meaningful change happens within the family setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized in-home therapy to children facing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
• Partner with parents, foster parents, and other caregivers to strengthen family functioning and support lasting progress.
• Develop, deliver, and adjust treatment approaches tailored to each child's needs and home environment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records consistent with professional and licensing standards.
• Coordinate care alongside families and the broader support team to promote stability and well-being.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey clinical license: LSW, LAC, LAMFT, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Genuine commitment to working with children and families in their own homes.
• Ability to travel to client residences throughout the Hackensack and Bergen County area.
• Strong clinical judgment, empathy, and communication skills suited to in-person, community-based care.
