Morton County is seeking a community-minded resident to join the Three River Human Service Zone Board, formerly known as Morton County Social Services, in Mandan, Morton County. This full-time, on-site board appointment offers a meaningful way to shape how essential social services reach families across the region.
About the Role
As a member of the Three River Human Service Zone Board (the Social Service Board) for Morton County, you will help guide the delivery of human services within the zone. The position grew out of Senate Bill 2124, passed by the 65th Legislative Assembly, which enables regions across North Dakota to collaborate with one another and with the North Dakota Department of Human Services to better serve residents in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an appointed member of the Three River Human Service Zone Board in Mandan, Morton County.
- Support coordinated, regional delivery of social and human services in line with Senate Bill 2124.
- Work cooperatively with neighboring zones and the North Dakota Department of Human Services to address community needs.
- Contribute to board decisions that help ensure local residents can access the support services available to them.
