About the Role
We are searching for a dedicated travel nurse RN to support a Medical-Surgical Neuro unit in Wilmington, North Carolina. This full-time travel contract runs for 13 weeks beginning July 20, 2026, with 12-hour night shifts totaling 48 hours each week. The advertised pay package of $2,490 per week is structured around the 48-hour, 12-hour shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based bedside care to medical-surgical and neuro patients
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and document care accurately throughout night shifts
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment plans
- Respond to changing patient conditions with sound clinical judgment and timely intervention
- Uphold facility protocols, safety standards, and quality-of-care benchmarks
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license valid for practice in North Carolina
- Proven experience in a Medical-Surgical and/or Neuro nursing specialty
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts and a 48-hour weekly commitment
