Environmental Health and Safety Analyst

Whirlpool is hiring a full-time Environmental Health and Safety Analyst in Findlay, Hancock County, to help protect people and the planet while advancing safe, compliant operations at one of the world's most recognized home appliance manufacturers.

About the Role

As an Environmental Health and Safety Analyst at Whirlpool in Findlay, Ohio, you will support the site's EHS programs, monitor regulatory compliance, and drive a culture where safety comes first. This on-site position partners with operations, engineering, and leadership to reduce risk, strengthen environmental stewardship, and keep employees safe every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and interpret environmental, health, and safety regulations to keep the Findlay facility in full compliance.
• Collect, analyze, and report EHS data, identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assist with workplace inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Support incident investigations and help develop solutions that prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records, permits, and documentation for regulatory reporting.
• Help deliver training and communication that reinforce safe work practices across the site.

Qualifications

• Background in environmental science, occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of EHS regulations and standards relevant to a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation, reporting, and follow-through.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams and levels of the organization.
• Ability to work full-time, on-site, in Findlay, Hancock County (this role is not remote).
