About the Role
As a PCA/Home Health Aide with MBI Health Services in Washington, D.C., you will support consumers with the everyday tasks that keep them well. This full-time, in-person position centers on personal care, light home upkeep, and attentive monitoring of each consumer's condition. Every task you perform is guided strictly by the individual's approved plan of care, and the starting pay for this role is $17.95 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist consumers with personal hygiene and daily personal care needs.
- Complete essential housekeeping duties that contribute to a safe, healthy living environment.
- Carry out approved health-related tasks that support each consumer's overall well-being.
- Watch for, document, and promptly report any changes in a consumer's condition to your supervisor.
- Perform only the duties outlined in the consumer's individual plan of care.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated competence in the core skills required to provide safe, reliable home health support.
- Willingness to follow each consumer's plan of care precisely and within scope.
- Strong observational skills and clear, timely communication with supervisory staff.
- A dependable, caring approach to supporting consumers with their personal and household needs.
