Director of Social Services

Life Skills Training and Educational Programs (LifeSTEPS) is searching for a dedicated, full-time Director of Social Services to lead compassionate, life-changing programs in North Sacramento, CA.

About the Role

As the Director of Social Services, you will guide and coordinate support services that help individuals and families move toward stability and self-sufficiency. This is a non-exempt, on-site position based in North Sacramento, with an offered pay rate of $25.66 per hour. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, delivery, and quality of social services programs across the Sacramento area.
• Support and advocate for vulnerable populations, including seniors, helping them access essential resources.
• Coordinate care, referrals, and case management to address residents' social, emotional, and practical needs.
• Build connections with community partners and local organizations to expand available support.
• Promote a welcoming, respectful environment grounded in dignity and measurable, positive outcomes.

• Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations and seniors.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Availability to work full-time on-site in North Sacramento.
