Launch your career in climate tech as a Junior Pre-Sales Manager (m/w/d) at Vamo, a fast-growing startup on a mission to make switching to heat pumps effortless. This full-time role is your entry point into Germany's heat transition, with the flexibility to work fully remote or from our Cologne (Köln) office.

About the Role

At Vamo, Pre-Sales is where careers begin. As a Junior Pre-Sales Manager, you'll spend your first year mastering our product, our market, and how we connect with customers — all while genuinely contributing to climate protection. After roughly 12 months, we'll sit down together and map out your next step based on your strengths, whether that's closing as a Sales Manager, Operations, Partner Management, or Marketing. We open the doors; you choose the direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify warm leads by phone — no cold calling. You'll only speak with people who have already shown active interest in our heat pump package.
• Run feasibility checks over the phone, identifying technical conditions and potential deal-breakers for each project early on.
• Be the welcoming voice of Vamo, answering first questions and turning interested prospects into lasting fans.
• Schedule well-prepared consultation appointments and hand them off smoothly to our Sales Managers.
• Challenge and improve our workflows — we don't work from rigid scripts and we value your ideas.

Qualifications

• A solution-focused, can-do mindset and the drive to take ownership from day one.
• Genuine enthusiasm for talking with people and the tact to handle early objections with charm.
• Eagerness to learn and become an expert in heat pumps and efficient sales.
• Confident German communication skills at C1 level or above.
• Some prior experience in sales, customer service, or inbound/outbound phone work is a plus — but not required. We'll teach you everything.
