Regional Account Manager (Southwest)

This position is in the Toxicology Business Unit, servicing agencies in the government criminal justice and treatment market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – (KEY ACTIVITIES)

· Actively seek outnew salesopportunities through cold calling and lead generation

· Set up meetings with prospects to introduce our products and services

· Perform prospect and customer needs assessments

· Prepare and send quotes and proposals

· Coordinate and secure contracts and agreements between new clients and contracts team

· Support new account implementation activities within sales and operations

· Stay current with trends and competitors toidentifyimprovements or recommend new products and services

· Attend trade shows and in-person customer visits

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• BachelorsDegree (± 16 years), Related field an equivalent combination of education and work experience ORMastersDegree (± 18 years) Preferred

• Minimum 9 years,Related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area.

• Comprehensive knowledge andapplicationbusiness concepts,proceduresand practices.

• Uses in-depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross group dependencies/ relationships.

• Is recognized as an expert inworkgroup.

• Will perform this job in a quality system environment.

• Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.

• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation ofvarious factors.

• Exercisesjudgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods,techniquesand evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
