The Opportunity

This is a full-time position at HealthcareLink, a small and friendly boutique family medical practice located in the heart of Newcastle. The practice is known for its focus on quality care and its mission to provide the highest standard of patient care through an holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness. This role involves working 65% of billings in a mixed billing environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care
• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients
• Perform diagnostic procedures as necessary
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities

Skills & Qualifications

• A registered GP with current practicing rights in Australia
• Experience in mixed billing environments is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning abilities
