About the Role
The Volunteers 2025-2026 opportunity at Pearland ISD is a district-wide, full-time, on-site role for individuals who want to give their time in support of public education. Volunteers and chaperones partner with campus staff to enrich the daily learning environment and assist with school-sponsored activities. Positions remain open until filled, with placements available across the district.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers, staff, and students with classroom and campus activities
- Serve as a chaperone for school events, field trips, and other supervised outings
- Support a safe, welcoming, and positive atmosphere for learners
- Follow district guidelines and procedures while volunteering on Pearland ISD campuses
Qualifications
- A genuine interest in contributing time to students and the Pearland ISD community
- Willingness to submit a written declaration of intent to serve as a volunteer
- Consent to a criminal history record check, which Pearland ISD may obtain in accordance with Texas Education Code, Section 22.083, for anyone indicating in writing their intention to volunteer
- Completion of the district's required volunteer application and approval process
