Join Insight Service Group's Special Investigations Unit as a Part Time SIU Investigator in Newport News, Virginia. We're seeking detail-oriented investigators to support our mission of identifying fraud and protecting client interests through thorough, professional inquiry.
About the Role
As a Part Time SIU Investigator with ISG in Newport News, you'll conduct field investigations and research to uncover facts, verify claims, and document evidence. This role is essential to our clients' risk management and loss prevention efforts, requiring both analytical thinking and practical investigative skills.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough field investigations, interviews, and surveillance within scope and legal guidelines
- Research public records, databases, and other sources to verify information and identify inconsistencies
- Document findings in detailed, professional reports with clear conclusions and supporting evidence
- Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all company policies and legal requirements
- Communicate findings to supervisors and clients in a timely, organized manner
- Assist with case preparation and support broader investigative initiatives as needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or related experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a flexible schedule
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Willingness to obtain or maintain appropriate licenses (if applicable in Virginia)
