About This Position
We are seeking a passionate VFX Artist to join our team on an upcoming Third Person Action Shooter project. As a VFX Artist at Blackbird Interactive, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects in Unreal Engine 5 and working closely with the creative and technical teams to bring our vision to life.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and implement detailed visual effects in Unreal Engine 5
- Work under a strong technical brief to ensure consistency and quality of VFX assets
- Collaborate with the art, animation, and technical teams to achieve project goals
- Contribute to the development of innovative and engaging visual effects for our game
Skills & Qualifications
- Broad range of creative and technical experience in VFX
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5
- Ability to create art under a strong technical brief
- Strong understanding of visual effects principles and techniques
- Experience working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
