About This Position
As the Ultrasound Technologist you will deliver a range of ultrasound examinations chiefly in emergency department settings found in both traditional hospitals and freestanding emergency locations. Responsibilities
- Carry out an assortment of ultrasound imaging procedures
- Speak with patients in a caring and professional manner
- Display a positive and welcoming presence on every shift
- Keep equipment and the immediate work area clean and organized
- Exchange clear and professional updates with hospital staff and colleagues
- Operate the diagnostic imaging equipment required for each modality with skill
- Finish additional tasks that support overall operations when needed
Who We're Looking For
- Minimum of one year ultrasound imaging experience after graduation
- Current ARDMS RDMS certification, ideally Abdomen or Obstetrics
- Valid driver’s license
- Active BLS/CPR certification
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication abilities
- Self-motivation and the capacity to work independently
- Ability to meet hospital employment health standards, including drug screen and background check
- Comfort performing general abdominal, general obstetric, and general vascular scans and procedures
- Competence using mobile phones and related applications
