Core Duties

• Complete an extensive variety of ultrasound imaging procedures with technical accuracy
• Engage patients through caring, clear, and professional dialogue during every encounter
• Maintain a consistently positive presence while on assignment
• Ensure scanning equipment and work areas remain clean and fully prepared
• Coordinate smoothly and courteously with hospital personnel and fellow team members
• Apply full working knowledge of the equipment used in the diagnostic modality
• Address additional responsibilities as they arise to support overall unit success

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of post-graduation ultrasound imaging experience
• Current ARDMS credential with RDMS registration, preferably in abdomen or OB
• Valid driver’s license
• Active BLS/CPR certification
• Professional demeanor paired with strong interpersonal communication abilities
• Self-direction and the capacity to function independently
• Ability to satisfy all hospital health clearances, including drug screening and background verification
• Comfort performing general abdominal, general OB, and general vascular scans and procedures
• Proficiency using mobile phone devices and applications
