About This Position

This part-time position involves tutoring students in the ESL program at Cuyahoga Community College's Western Campus. The tutor will support learners in developing their English language skills and academic success through one-on-one or small group sessions.

Core Duties

• Provide individualized instruction to ESL students, addressing specific learning needs and goals.
• Create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and motivation.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and materials tailored to the diverse needs of ESL learners.
• Evaluate student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with faculty as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field is required; Master’s preferred.
