Driver – Residential Rear Load

GFL Environmental is hiring a full-time Residential Rear Load Driver in Cresson to join our waste collection team. In this role, you'll deliver reliable solid waste and recycling services to residential customers throughout the region.

About the Role

As a Residential Rear Load Driver, you'll operate specialized collection vehicles and equipment to service waste management routes. You'll become an essential part of our operations team, ensuring customers receive dependable, professional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Operate rear-load, side-load, and other residential collection trucks
• Collect solid waste and recyclable materials from residential properties via curbside and backdoor routes
• Transport collected materials safely to designated post-collection and processing facilities
• Operate hydraulic equipment and collection mechanisms with precision
• Maintain professional, courteous interactions with customers on every stop
• Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs
• Contribute to a clean, efficient collection route

What We're Looking For

• Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and hydraulic systems
• Physical capability to perform the demands of residential collection work
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
