About the Role
Join a dynamic healthcare team in Ada County as a traveling ultrasound technologist. You'll deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across patient care settings, bringing your clinical expertise to support facility operations and patient outcomes. With flexible travel assignments, you'll gain diverse experience while maintaining stability with a single employer.
What You'll Do
- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment with precision and patient care in mind
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain ultrasound procedures in clear, compassionate language
- Position patients and adjust ultrasound transducers to capture diagnostic images
- Document examination findings and maintain detailed, accurate medical records
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain equipment functionality through routine calibration and cleaning
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations
What We're Looking For
- Minimum one year of recent, hands-on clinical ultrasound experience
- Current ARDMS certification or equivalent state licensure as an ultrasound technician
- Strong technical proficiency with ultrasound scanning protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient-centered care
- Ability to work day shifts with reliability and flexibility
- Licensed healthcare professional in good standing
