Your Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, continuous bedside nursing for patients with medical, post-surgical, and trauma-related needs throughout each 12-hour night
• Complete thorough assessments, administer ordered medications and treatments, and keep the electronic record accurate and timely
• Recognize and escalate changes in clinical status, diverting rapid-response or higher-level care when indicated
• Coordinate care plans with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support recovery goals
• Educate patients and families on recovery steps, medications, and discharge readiness
• Follow infection-prevention, safety, and facility protocols while integrating quickly into unit routines
• Maintain consistent productivity across the full 48-hour weekly schedule for the 13-week duration

Skills & Qualifications

• Current RN license with eligibility to practice in Missouri
• Minimum of one to two years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to care for med-surg populations that include trauma-influenced cases
• Availability for full-time night shifts totaling 48 hours per week across a 13-week travel assignment starting 08/03/2026
• Strong prioritization, critical-thinking, and calm communication under overnight census pressures
• Willingness to travel to Manchester, Missouri and adapt rapidly to a new facility team and workflow
