About the Role

We're seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic rehabilitation environment. This travel position provides a structured schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week, beginning July 13, 2026. You'll partner with physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans and support patients throughout their recovery journey in the Charleston area.

What You'll Do

• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities
• Deliver manual therapy and therapeutic modalities as directed by the supervising physical therapist
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately and timely
• Observe and report on patient response to treatment interventions
• Instruct patients on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics
• Set up and maintain treatment areas and rehabilitation equipment
• Foster a supportive, patient-centered care experience

What We're Looking For

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
• Proven clinical experience in physical therapy or allied healthcare
