About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Easterseals PORT Health in Wallace, Duplin County, you'll be on the front lines of our mission: empowering people and building stronger communities. In this hands-on, full-time position, you'll support individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) as they navigate daily routines and work toward their personal goals. This is an on-site role scheduled Monday through Friday, with a range of available hours and shift options.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with IDD in completing everyday living tasks and personal care routines.
• Encourage and guide participants as they pursue their individual goals and greater independence.
• Provide compassionate, person-centered support that reflects each individual's needs and preferences.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and dignified environment that promotes growth and community engagement.
