This is a full-time, 13-week travel nursing position in a high-acuity operating room environment. You'll work alongside surgeons, surgical technologists, and anesthesiologists in a fast-paced clinical setting that demands precision and teamwork. Core Duties

• Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist the surgical team with instrument handling, equipment setup, and sterile field management
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond rapidly to clinical changes
• Prepare and maintain the operating room in compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with anesthesia personnel and surgical staff to ensure efficient case flow
• Document surgical times, nursing interventions, and patient information with precision
• Maintain strict adherence to facility policies and state nursing regulations

What We're Looking For

• Active Illinois RN license or eligibility for Illinois licensure
• Minimum one to two years of operating room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (ACLS strongly preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in team-based care
• Ability to adapt quickly to new protocols, facilities, and surgical teams
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
