This W2 contract role runs for the 2026‑2027 school year and involves delivering occupational therapy services to K‑12 learners in a public‑school setting. What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Provide evidence‑based therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor, sensory processing, self‑care, and classroom participation skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapy strategies into daily classroom routines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes, session data, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to transition planning as needed.
- Adhere to professional ethics and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Florida.
- Preferred experience working in a school‑based or pediatric environment with K‑12 populations.
- Strong knowledge of OT assessment tools, intervention techniques, and IEP processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators and families.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while working within a team framework.
