About the Role
As a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry, you'll join a Med Surg Float Pool covering night shifts and deliver high-quality bedside care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients. This full-time travel assignment begins on July 14, 2026, runs for approximately 16 weeks, and is scheduled at 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients during 12-hour night shifts
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
- Float across assigned units as part of the Med Surg Float Pool to meet staffing needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and ongoing assessments per established protocols
- Document patient status accurately and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for the assignment location
- Demonstrated experience in Med Surg and Telemetry nursing
- Availability for night shifts and a full 16-week travel commitment
- Comfort working flexibly within a float pool environment
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and time-management skills
