Travel Registered Nurse – GI/Endoscopy

About This Position

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support our endoscopy program in Kennewick. This travel nursing position is designed for healthcare professionals who thrive in dynamic clinical environments and value flexibility. You'll work 36 hours per week on a day shift schedule, with typical 12-hour shifts that allow for meaningful patient engagement and collaboration with our gastroenterology team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for GI endoscopic procedures, including upper and lower gastrointestinal examinations
• Monitor vital signs and patient comfort throughout endoscopy cases
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic interventions
• Manage post-procedure patient care and recovery protocols
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and nursing records
• Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Washington or valid multistate compact licensure
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in endoscopy, gastroenterology, or perioperative settings
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred for this specialty)
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively in a collaborative team
