The assignment runs for 13 weeks beginning July 6, 2026, with 40 hours per week scheduled across 8-hour day shifts. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the cardiovascular operating room, instruments, and sterile field ahead of each surgical case
- Assist the surgical team during CVOR procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments efficiently
- Maintain strict sterile technique and infection-control standards throughout every case
- Account for instruments, sponges, and supplies before, during, and after each procedure
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and perfusionists to keep cases moving safely
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Surgical Technologist in a cardiovascular operating room
- Background as an allied health professional with current, applicable certification
- Availability for a full-time, 13-week travel commitment starting July 6, 2026
- Willingness to work 8-hour day shifts totaling 40 hours per week
- Adaptability to integrate quickly into a new surgical team and facility
