Role Overview

This full-time travel position places you at the center of cardiac patient care, supporting physicians and the catheterization team through every procedure. Working day shift hours—40 hours per week on an 8-hour daily schedule—you'll gain valuable experience in different clinical environments while earning competitive compensation. As a Travel Cath Lab Technologist, you'll combine technical expertise with patient advocacy in a role that directly impacts outcomes in interventional cardiology.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the catheterization laboratory, ensuring equipment is calibrated, sterile, and ready for procedures
• Position patients and monitoring equipment to support optimal physician access and patient safety during catheterization
• Operate and monitor catheterization lab instrumentation, including hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Maintain sterile field protocols throughout each procedure, following infection control standards
• Record procedure times, medications administered, equipment used, and patient responses with clinical accuracy
• Support patients before, during, and after procedures; communicate patient concerns to clinical staff
• Manage supplies and communicate equipment or inventory needs to keep the lab running efficiently

What You Bring

• Current certification as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician (or equivalent credential in your state)
• Active licensure or certification required for Allied Health Professionals in cardiology
• Hands-on experience in a cardiac catheterization or interventional lab setting
• Ability to stay focused and responsive in fast-paced, high-stakes clinical situations
